Antique pocket watch porcelain quadrant, oxidised tin, semi-precious stone (tiger’s eye, agate, carnelian, pyrite, lapis lazuli, cat stones), rooster feathers, grosgrain ribbon

This work introduces ornament as language. The pin resembles an unofficial medal — an emblem that recognises not achievement, but remembrance. Its layered construction recalls accumulated gestures, social roles, and inherited forms.

Emblem of the Remembered Gesture suggests that time does not pass anonymously; it leaves traces in posture, ritual, and symbol.
