In Held Interval, time is suspended through containment. The clock face remains visible yet partially obscured, suggesting duration that is paused rather than resolved. Coral elements introduce organic irregularity, opposing the rational order of the mechanism.
The piece proposes time as something that can be held but not controlled—an interval preserved between intention and outcome.
