MILIUS COLLECTION
ACT 5 – CONCENTRATION – conceived as an exclusive chapter for Luisa Via Roma
PIECE 1
CONCENTRATION
Ring (sculptural-object), mode – jewellery design
2015–2016, Florence, Italy
Author: Milan Stamenovic
Limited edition – closed chapter
Materials
The “CONCENTRATION” ring is structured in brass as its base material and articulated through distinct surface treatments.
The series includes galvanised finishes in gold, palladium, and ruthenium, alongside a version realised in black varnish.
Each finish is paired with a specific semi-precious stone, forming a fixed material identity rather than interchangeable variation.
Material and stone operate together as a single formal condition, reinforcing the sculptural and intentional nature of the work.
Availability
Realised as part of the “MILIUS — Luisa Via Roma” exclusive chapter, “CONCENTRATION” was executed as a closed edition.
The series is now complete and fully placed within private collections.
CONCENTRATION is conceived as a sculptural investigation into reduction, tension, and formal density.
Rather than extending the existing Acts of MILIUS, the work operates through limitation — compressing gesture, material, and structure into a singular, focused form.
The ring articulates the body not as ornamented surface, but as site of pressure and balance, where opposing forces are held in equilibrium.
Authored by Milan Stamenovic, CONCENTRATION belongs to a closed chapter developed exclusively for Luisa Via Roma, standing as a resolved moment within the wider MILIUS corpus. Its language remains continuous with the collection as a whole, while its execution asserts rarity, focus, and completion.
