Materials

Cast and finished with controlled precision, Milius — Act IV, Piece 06: Counterweight is available in the following finishes: gold plated, palladium plated, ruthenium plated, and black varnish finishes with semi-precious stones like: tiger’s eye, green quartz, black onyx.
Each surface treatment is conceived as an integral extension of the sculptural logic rather than a decorative variation.

Produced in small, controlled editions as part of ACT IV — ACCUMULATION  within the Milius Collection.
Each finish is released in limited quantities, reinforcing the work’s position as a collectible object situated between contemporary jewelry, sculptural practice, and curatorial design.

Counterweight functions as the stabilising force of ACT IV — ACCUMULATION.
Conceived as a twin to Condensed Field, the piece embodies accumulation through opposition rather than expansion. Mass is mirrored, pressure is redistributed, and form holds itself in equilibrium through sustained tension. Together, the paired cuffs define the architectural and conceptual core of Act IV, where accumulation becomes a permanent structural condition.
