Materials

Cast and finished with controlled precision, Milius — Act IV, Piece 03: Articulated Breach are available in the following finishes: gold plated, palladium plated, ruthenium plated, and black varnish finishes with semi-precious stones like: tiger’s eye, amethyst, orange agate.
Each surface treatment is conceived as an integral extension of the sculptural logic rather than a decorative variation.

Availability

Produced in small, controlled editions as part of ACT IV — ACCUMULATION  within the Milius Collection.
Each finish is released in limited quantities, reinforcing the work’s position as a collectible object situated between contemporary jewelry, sculptural practice, and curatorial design.

Articulated Breach introduces articulation as a consequence of excess.
Form no longer accumulates through mass, but through connection, distance, and tension. Two rigid anchoring elements are joined by a flexible chain, transforming separation into an active structural interval.

Within ACT IV — ACCUMULATION, the piece marks a critical inflection. Accumulation reaches a threshold where continuity can no longer be sustained; it must be negotiated. The collar becomes a site of interruption rather than enclosure, crossed by a controlled breach that binds rather than resolves.

The object operates as a system. Meaning emerges through placement, movement, and relational pressure. What appears as fastening is, in fact, a deliberate fracture held in balance.
