Materials

Cast and finished with controlled precision, “Retention Point I” is available in gold plated, palladium plated, ruthenium plated, and black varnish finishes, combined with selected stone inserts. Each configuration preserves the vertical containment of the piece while modulating the perception of accumulated tension.

Limited series production.
Each finish is realized in small, controlled editions, conceived as part of ACT II — TRANSITION within the broader Milius collection.

“Retention Point I” defines a moment in ACT II where tension is neither resolved nor redirected. The piece holds force in suspension, establishing containment as a primary sculptural condition. It marks a shift from movement toward accumulation within the Milius narrative.
