Materials

Cast and finished with controlled precision, “Emergence II — Suspended Axis” is available in gold plated, palladium plated, ruthenium plated, and black varnish finishes. With semi-precious stone accents (tiger’s eye, black onyx, green and rose quartz). Articulated vertical chains. Hand-assembled construction. All finishes preserve identical proportions and structure, differing only in surface treatment and chromatic presence.

Each finish is conceived as a limited and controlled edition, developed within ACT I — EMERGENCE as the generative framework of the MILIUS collection.

Within Act I — Emergence, Suspended Axis represents a moment of alignment and orientation. The body is no longer a site of compression but a vertical landscape where form is measured, suspended, and tested against gravity.

This piece prepares the passage toward the concluding movement of Act I, where emergence reaches its final configuration before giving way to transformation.
