Split Signal introduces fragmentation as an active condition. The work presents dual readings simultaneously — mechanical and symbolic — without allowing either to resolve the other. Information is present, but it arrives divided.
The composition deliberately disrupts linear legibility. Signals appear doubled, offset, or partially obscured, evoking systems under stress where clarity fractures into parallel interpretations. The object does not fail; it adapts by speaking in more than one register.
This piece articulates transformation as a cognitive event: when meaning multiplies instead of stabilizing. Worn on the body, it becomes an emblem of perception under pressure — a reminder that coherence is often born through division rather than unity.
