Necklace (sculptural-object), mode – jewellery design

2015–2016, Florence, Italy

Author: Milan Stamenovic

Limited edition – closed chapter

Materials

The FIGURE Necklace is developed as a sculptural object articulated through precise casting and finishing processes.

Available in black polished finish and gold finish. Set with onyx, rose quartz, and tiger eye. Suspended on a corded necklace with integrated sculptural attachments.

Each finish emphasizes a different tonal register within the same formal structure, allowing the pendant to shift between restraint and radiance while preserving its symbolic integrity.

Availability

Realised as part of the “MILIUS — Luisa Via Roma” exclusive chapter, “CONCENTRATION” was executed as a closed edition.

The series is now complete and fully placed within private collections.

The Anthropomorphic FIGURE Necklace condenses the human form into a symbolic apparatus: arms extended, body weighted, identity reduced to gesture. Within the Milius collection, this form functions as a mediator between presence and abstraction, recalling ritual objects, votive figures, and early sculptural languages where the body served as a site of meaning rather than likeness.

Conceived, drawn, prototyped, and developed by Milan Stamenovic, the piece asserts jewelry as a mode of sculptural thinking rather than applied ornament. Its exclusive realization for Luisa Via Roma situates the object within a precise moment of collaboration, where authorship, limitation, and distribution are integral to the work’s conceptual structure.
