MILIUS
Artist-led sculptural jewelry collection
Milan Stamenovic
MILIUS is an artist-led collection developed as a sequence of sculptural works conceived for the body. Positioned at the intersection of contemporary jewelry, sculpture, and architectural thinking, the collection approaches adornment as a structural and temporal condition rather than a decorative one.
Developed across four Acts, MILIUS examines how form emerges, accumulates tension, transforms through use, and ultimately resolves into essential structure. Each Act functions as a distinct chapter within a unified sculptural language, articulated through rings, pins, necklaces, bracelets, and hybrid objects that operate simultaneously as wearable forms and autonomous sculptural propositions.
The collection is grounded in a material and conceptual discipline. Metals, stones, and surface treatments are employed not as embellishment but as active components of structure, balance, and resistance. Variations in finish or material are treated as separate realisations rather than reproductions, reinforcing the collection’s sculptural integrity.
MILIUS is produced as a sequence of limited editions. Quantities are intentionally restricted and determined by material availability, technical complexity, and the integrity of the making process. Certain works exist as unique pieces or may become permanently unavailable once completed. The collection does not follow seasonal logic, trend cycles, or replenishment models.
Conceived within a broader artistic practice, MILIUS is intended for presentation within gallery, museum, and institutional contexts, as well as for private collections that engage with contemporary sculptural discourse. The works invite both bodily interaction and curatorial framing, operating across scales — from intimate wear to exhibition display.
MILIUS positions jewelry not as an accessory to fashion, but as a sustained sculptural inquiry into form, duration, and presence.
