The Last Still Point concludes Series I by returning to silence, now charged with awareness. The mechanism remains present but inactive, signaling completion without closure. Time here does not advance; it waits.
This piece holds the final pause before movement begins—an awareness fully formed, yet deliberately unresolved.
Closing note — Series I
Series I does not attempt to explain time.
It introduces it—slowly, deliberately, without urgency.
These works inhabit the threshold between presence and action, where duration becomes perceptible but remains unmeasured. Time is not displayed as progress, but as awareness—quiet, internal, and restrained.
This opening movement establishes the conditions necessary for transformation. The following series will not repeat this stillness; they will respond to it.
Series I ends not with resolution, but with readiness.
